Every birth is so different. Nothing ever goes as planned. Even this planned C-section didn't go quite like they wanted. After 6 failed attempts at an epidural she ended up having to be put under. Mom and Dad didn't get to meet their sweet Charlie until an hour later. There were so many different emotions involved but the important thing is that baby Charlie got here safely. I only got to be there for the before and after of this birth (Dad got the amazing shots in between) but I'm so thankful to have been there at all.
